The second consultation stage of the ongoing Community Governance review of the parished areas of Newcastle upon Tyne is now open. We would welcome your views on our Draft Recommendations for future community governance arrangements. All feedback and representations received during this second consultation stage will be considered before Final Recommendations are prepared and submitted to the City Council for approval. In developing the Draft Recommendations, the Council has taken into account the feedback received during the initial consultation, together with the statutory criteria set out in relevant legislation and government guidance.
